Orientation 2008
2008 Orientation Schedule
Sign up now for Community Service Project & Tours
Tentative; August 7, 2008
Orientation for entering JD students will be held on August 21-22, 2008. We look forward to welcoming you to our community! During Orientation, we hope to share with you our passion about the profession you have chosen to enter and to expose you to some of the exciting and diverse experiences which await you in law school and beyond. A great deal of practical information will be communicated during these two days, and we also want to give you a chance to meet and begin to get to know the classmates with whom you will spend the next three or four years. Community service projects and tours will be part of the introduction to Law School life, as will some more light-hearted activities. To prepare for Orientation, we urge you to spend time perusing the Law Schools website and its many programs and activities. We also suggest that you read the student handbook. Although there are no reading assignments in preparation for Orientation, we do have suggestions for enjoyable law-related summer reading.
If you have any questions, please contact Orientation coordinator Claudia Norsworthy.
We look forward to seeing you on August 21st!
