About the Office of Career Services
The Office of Career Services at the University of Connecticut School of Law educates and supports students in their ongoing professional development and career planning. The Office offers personalized service to meet the unique needs of the School's student body and endeavors to provide students with the skills and resources necessary to achieve their individual career goals through one-on-one counseling, educational and professional programming and an array of employment services. Our goal is to provide students with the information, experience and personal attention they require to make informed career choices commensurate with individual strengths and aspirations.
The Office of Career Services offers a wide variety of programs, workshops, information sessions, panel discussions and other career-related programs to prepare students to compete successfully in the legal marketplace. In addition to counseling services, the Office serves as a clearinghouse for a wide range of recruitment programs and graduate networks that offer job opportunities for students. As a result of these opportunities and individual job search efforts, the School boasts amongst the highest employment rates nationwide with graduates in a diverse range of professional settings throughout the United States, including judicial clerkships, law firms of all sizes, federal and state government agencies, public interest organizations, corporations, accounting firms, academic institutions, as well as many other professional categories.
