Geoffrey Dellenbaugh is an assistant clinical professor and supervising patent attorney in the Intellectual Property and Entrepreneurship Law Clinic. He received a BA in chemistry from Princeton University and his law degree from the University of Chicago. Prior to law school he also received an MA in teaching from Stanford University and a PhD in chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh.

Following law school, he practiced patent and licensing law with Johnson & Johnson and Warner Lambert Company, where he was Intellectual Property Counsel. For the past five years, he has been a senior consultant at Columbia University, where he advised on licensing of inventions arising at its Medical Science Campus.

For the past seven years, he has been an adjunct professor Franklin Pierce Law Center, where he taught Intellectual Property Management and Patent Licensing, as well as conducting an advanced licensing institute.
