Sara Cecilia Bronin (formerly Galvan) is an Associate Professor of Law and the coordinator of the Gallivan Conferences in real property law. Professor Bronin has researched and published in the area of property, land use, and historic preservation law. She earned a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Arts in Plan II from the University of Texas at Austin and is a LEED accredited professional. As a Rhodes Scholar, Professor Bronin received a masters degree in Economic and Social History from the University of Oxford. She received her Juris Doctor from Yale Law School; she is admitted to the bars of the states of Texas (inactive) and Connecticut. In addition to her academic projects, Professor Bronin serves as a real estate development consultant, the Vice Chair of the Hartford Historic Properties and Preservation Commissions, the Vice President of the Connecticut Hispanic Bar Association, and as a board member of the Connecticut Trust for Historic Preservation and the Town Green Special Services District.
