Description:
This course is a study of the creation, perfection and enforcement of security interests in personal property under Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code. Topics covered will include the definition of the security interest and the scope of Article 9, the nature of the security agreement, means of perfection of security interests in various types of property, the enforcement of security interests on default and priorities among claimants including the bankruptcy trustee.
